Adolfo Martinez, age 73 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, December 25, 2017.  He is survived by siblings: Refugio Martinez, Ma. Guadalupe Gomez, Alberto Martinez, Carmen Sandoval, Alejandra Rodriguez, Jose Martinez and Alicia Sanchez of the area;  family in La Moncada, Guanajuato, Mexico: Benito Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Damian Martinez and Francisca Martinez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3510 Deodar Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Carlos Martinez, A.I.C. officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 and from 9:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Thursday morning.
