David Jason Johnson, the second child of Debra A. and Robert L. Johnson, Jr.  He was one of three children:  Robert, David and Andre L. Johnson.  David was born on June 8, 1980 and grew up in Chicago, Illinois and relocated to East Chicago, Indiana.

David received his elementary education through Medgar Evers Chicago Public Schools, where he was Valedictorian of his class as well as class President.  David received his high school and college education through Olive Harvey College.

David Johnson worked at Comcast Cable as a Supervisor for 16 years.  He started working for Comcast in 1998 as a temp and moved up as a Supervisor through the years.  Dave also worked at AT&T as a technician and Family Dollar as a cashier/stocker.

On April 27, 2016, David made his transition from this world and found Peace with God.  David will be missed because he had an unconditional love for his family.  David was all about family unity.  David knew the Lord, who Blessed him with his passion for music.  His voice was like no others.  God Blessed David with talent in music, drawing, cooking, reading, math, basketball, swimming and speaking.  Most of all, Dave had a positive view on life, knew how to respect other's feelings, how to encourage, was not a selfish or jealous-hearted person.  David would put his heart into everything he did.  He shared himself with everyone.  David treated everyone like family.  He accepted all beings on this earth as his family.  David loved children and made sacrifices to assure that his nephews and nieces had the best that he could give which was an abundance of true love, lessons and care; until his illness would not allow it.  David will never be forgotten by those that loved him because he was a forgiving, caring, sensitive person.

David always gave good advice on trouble shooting a problem.  David's display of love, wisdom and knowledge will never be forgotten and always remembered through great memories like performing Hip Hop Shows, playing basketball, parties, working at Comcast, creating incredible free-style lyrics off the top of his head, playing cards and producing music (beats).
