Emma Rivera, age 92 of Hammond, IN passed away Monday, June 5, 2017.  She is survived by 8 children: Ishmael (Teresa) Rivera, Carmen (Samuel) Rivera, Ralph (Brenda) Rivera, Hardy (Rose) Rivera, late Eddie Rivera, David (Anna) Rivera, Anibal (Marie) Rivera and Norma Rivera; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Melinda and Inez; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Rivera in 2015 and much loved pets, “Candy” and “Lil Ceasar”

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 10:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Stephen Kosinski officiating.  Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
