Eustaquio S. “Shorty Man” Espinoza, age 92 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at home.  He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Cresenciana M. Espinoza; 3 children: Norma (Manuel) Moreno, Hector J. (Marta) Espinosa and Armando (Mary) Espinosa; 13 grandchildren: Kenneth, Jacquelyn (Augustine), Manuel, Steven (Jennifer), Michael, Armando, Jr., Sarah, Olivia, Angelica (Miguel), Esteban, Joe, Jr., Tina and Rachel; 16 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by son, Jose Luis; sisters: Margaret, Marcella, Aurelia and Consuelo; brothers: Juan, Antonio, Odilon, Rafael and Tolentino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Church, 3802 Grand Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. David G. Nowak officiating.  Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2016 and from 10:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Friday morning.
