Frances V. Hilstrom (nee Dewey), age 101, of Gary, Indiana, formerly East Chicago passed away Friday, April 14, 2017.  Frances is survived by daughter, Shirley (late James) Bell; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Gilbert Hilstrom; parents, Clyde and Lottie Hilstrom  2 sons: Gilbert and Douglas Hilstrom; daughter, Gwen Mastey; sisters: Naomi Dargan and Beatrice Slauter.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Pastor David Atkinson officiating.  Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.  Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 10:00 am until time of service on Wednesday morning.
