Ignacio “Nacho” Tamayo, age 67 of East Chicago, IN passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016.  He is survived by 4 children: Isabel (Enrique) Magdaleno, Elvira (Jesus) Vega, Patricia Tamayo and Rosalinda (Hugo) Pinon; 13 grandchildren; siblings: Benjamin, Jorge, Pedro, Alfredo, Lupe, Consuelo and Josefina.  Preceded in death by his sister, Amalia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Stephen Gibson officiating.  Cremation to follow.  Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2016 and from 9:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Friday morning.
