John “Shadow” Feliciano, age 54 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, January 9, 2017.  He is survived by 6 children: Holly, Crystal, Sonia, Brandon, Dylan and Olivia; grandchildren: Alexis, Gage, Andrew, Rehannan, Destiny, Brandon, Jr., Julian, Lilianna and two on the way; siblings: Hector, Myriam Pineda, Carmen (Max) Carrasquillo, Epifanio “Epo” (Virginia), Nellie (David Lopez) and Michael; former wife, Kathy Feliciano; Lisa Krizan the mother of his two youngest children; girlfriend, Donna Armes; best friends, Mark and Jennifer Frei and Grizzly.  Preceded in death by parents, Epifanio and Lydia Feliciano; sister, Carmen Luz; grandchildren, Jayden, Jacqualynne and Gabriel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 9:15 am from the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN and 10:00 am Mass at Holy Trinity Croatian Church, 4754 Carey Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terrence Steffens officiating.  Private Cremation to Follow.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2017.

John will be remembered for his love of life, Harleys and playing his guitar/bongos.  He loved traveling to Puerto Rico, enjoying the music, and cooking the foods of the islands.  He held a special bond with his favorite and precious Tia Rosa from Puerto Rico.  John loved adventure, fishing, being outdoors and being surrounded by nature.  He opened his home to whom ever needed a place to rest and eat.  He was loved by many and will be missed by his family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.  To share a memory or send a permanent online condolence, logon to www.fifefuneralhome.com
