John G. Jurcin, age 66 of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016.  He is survived by 3 children: Diane Jurcin, John McKinlay and Steven Jurcin; 2 sisters, Pamela (late Mark) Obzetich and Linda (Eugene) Forster; niece, Emily (Jesse) Chase; great niece, Alana Chase; step mother, Geneva Jurcin and her family; former wife, Marie Jurcin; nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents, John and Emily Jurcin.

The American Legion Post #369 will hold Military Graveside Services on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2016.

John was a U.S. Navy Veteran stationed at Naval Air Station in Oceana, Virginia.
