Manuela Torres, age 82 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, April 10, 2017.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jesus Torres; 4 children: Hilda (Javier) DeLeon, Patricio Torres, Gricela (Michael) Puente and Robert (Delia) Torres; 4 grandchildren: Michael Torres, Stephanie Puente, Rebeca Torres and Jessica Puente; 8 sisters and 1 brother; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chuch, 3510 Deodar Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Stephen Kosinski officiating.  Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 17, 2017 and from 9:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Tuesday morning.  Rosary 6:00 pm on Monday.
