Ramiro S. Magallanes, age 55 of Hammond, IN passed away Monday, November 13, 2017.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ana Maria Magallanes; 5 children: Juan (Mayra) Magallanes, Janet Magallanes, Daniel Magallanes, Manuel De Jesus and Jessica Magallanes; 3 grandchildren: Giovanny Avila, Juan Ramiro Magallanes and Maria Elizabeth Magallanes; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:15 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN and 12:00 noon Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1445 Hoffman Street, Hammond, IN with Rev. Erlin Y. Garcia officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 3:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.  Prayers services 4:00 pm Wednesday.
