Susan M. Rivich, age 94, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017.  Susan is survived by her daughters:  Roseann (Stanley) Grenko and Kathleen Rivich Zipko; 7 grandchildren:  Alicia Anson, Chris (Jill) Grenko, Frank Zipko, Raejean Zipko, Pam Grenko, Andew Zipko and Matthew Zipko; 7 great grandchildren:  Ray (Cassie) Anson, Chris (Dana) Anson, Jazmine Zipko, Teige, Declyn, Tyler, and Jack Grenko; 2 great-great grandchildren:  Kinsley and Kolten Anson; sister, Barbara (late Fred) Koricich; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by husband, Matthew “Shorty” Rivich, son, Raymond Rivich; brothers:  Mike, John, Peter and Nick Domsic; and sisters:  Rose Grasha and Mary Voyak.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 11, 2017 beginning at 9:15 am at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Croatian Church, 4754 Carey St., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation will be on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME.  Father Steffens will say prayers at 4:30 pm followed by the Rosary on Friday at the funeral home.

Susan was retired from Combustion Engineering in East Chicago; a Life Member of Holy Trinity Croatian Church, the Altar & Rosary Society, and Church Choir; and a Life-long resident of East Chicago.
