Vincent G. Jimenez, age 76 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, August 22, 2016.  He is survived by 3 children: Angelique (Art Aguilar) Jimenez, Vincent D. (Luz) Jimenez and Veronica (Barbarito Martinez) Jimenez; 9 grandchildren: Dillon, Vincent III, Bianca, Andrea, Katie, Karyme, Nina, Gianpaolo and Elijah;  great grandson, Vincent IV; sisters, Margaret Jimenez, Maria D. (Jose) Ramirez and Diana Herrera; nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by loving wife, Griselda Jimenez; parents, Manuel and Paula Jimenez; brother, Manuel (Bernice) Jimenez; sisters, Rosie Garcia, Martha Jimenez and Maria Mares; nephew, David Mares.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3510 Deodar Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 25, 2016 and from 9:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Friday morning.
