Frederick "Freddie" Unger, age 63 of East Chicago, IN passed away Saturday, February 18, 2024. Hi is survived by his sister, Kimberly Unger Rodriguez; brother, Zachary (Brittany) Unger; granddaughter, Nova; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Frederick, Sr. and Mary Unger; brothers, Michael and Martin Unger; daughter, Mary Estrada.

Private cremation services provided by FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN.

Frederick was a former employee of Crone Lumber in Martinsville, IN. Fred too, like his brother Michael was a great handyman. His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who love him deeply.
