Ana "Angelica" (Marcial) Rosario

Ana (Angelica) Rosario (nee Marcial), age 89 of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at home.  She is survived by daughter, Juanita (Vito) McCormick and son, Francisco Rosario; 12 grandchildren: Miguel, Melanie, Felicia, Annette, Jennifer, Francisco Antonio, Michelle, Vito, Jr., twins, Daniel and Joseph, Angelica and Tabitha; 24 great grandchildren; brother, Luis Anibal Marcial; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her husband, Felicito Rosario in 1986.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:15 am from FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN and 12:00 noon Mass at St. Patrick Church, 3802 Grand Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. David G. Nowak officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 7, 2018.

Ana was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She built her home and started her family.  Ana has lived her life undoubtedly through those she love the most – God, family and friends.  Ana worshiped God by living through his words.  She had these words embedded into who she was and those she loved.  The love and joy she has for family is beyond words though she always acknowledged how much she loved everyone not only by words but by her beautiful smile.  She always held her friends so dear whether they were far or near.  Ana was an amazing cook.  She enjoyed sewing, making her own clothes and dresses for loved ones and making paper crafts was not just something she enjoyed herself but she more importantly enjoyed sharing it with others.  Ana will be deeply missed though never forgotten and forever loved.
