Arturo A. Aguilera, age 85 of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, February 10, 2017.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Antonia (nee Delgado) Aguilera; 6 children: Arthur (Brenda) Aguilera, Elena (late Robert) Zamora, Monica (Art) Vasquez, Irma (Jim) Renderman, Jorge (Amparo) Aguilera and Ernesto Aguilera; 10 grandchildren: Arthur, Jr. (fiancée Elizabeth) Aguilera and Anthony (Maria) Aguilera, Robert, Jr. (Kate) Zamora, Michael and Jessica Vasquez, Keith Renderman, Jeffrey (Corina) Aguilera and Steven Aguilera, Benjamin and Ana Aguilera; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Estella in Mexico; nieces, nephews and cousins here and in Mexico.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Msgr. John Siekierski officiating.  Private cremation to follow.  Friends may meet with the family from 9:00 am until time of service on Wednesday morning.

Arturo was a printer in Mexico, then he came to East Chicago where he worked at Inland Steel Company for several years before opening up AAA Foods Grocery store where he retired.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the William J.
