Carlos Cortez, age 22 was born in Chicago, IL on February 23, 1995 and passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Nestor Varon officiating.  Cremation to follow.  Private Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 and from 9:00 am until time of Mass at the Church on Thursday morning.
