David A. Peter, age 68 of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at home.  He is survived by 5 brothers: caregivers Walter (Debbie) Peter of Griffith, IN, John (Benny) Peter of Merrillville, IN, Donald Peter of Griffith, IN, George Peter of Schererville, IN and late Emil Butch (Linda) Peter of Schererville, IN; 3 sisters, Patricia (Rich) Pena of Griffith, IN, late Rose (John) Pawlak of Crown Point, IN and Doreen (Joe) Jakubowicz of Crown Point, IN.  Preceded in death by parents, Emil and Ann Peter.

David was an East Chicago Roosevelt Graduate, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Allied Post #369 where he worked for several years.
