Fernando "Nando" Sendejas

Fernando “Nando” Sendejas, age 79 of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, January 11, 2019.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances Sendejas; 5 children: Ruth (Robert) Dixon, Fernando (Monica) Sendejas, Jr., Socorro (late Robert) Limon, Susanna Sendejas and Paul (Cynthia) Sendejas; 21 grandchildren: Sarah and Benjamin Dixon, Fernando Paul (Janet) Sendejas, Alexandria, Elena, Joseph, Felix, Isabella and Maxmileono Sendejas, Robert (Sara) Limon, Jr., Andres, Vanessa, Victor, Jessica and Miranda Limon, Clarissa, Serafina and Katrina Valtierra, Ambrielle, Penelope and Alexander Sendejas; great grandchildren: Grace Sendejas, Bryson and Aksel Limon and Oliver Griffin; 1 brother and 3 sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Consuelo Sendejas. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 3025 Highway Avenue, Highland, IN with Rev. Edward J. Moszur officiating.  Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of Mass at the Church on Tuesday morning.
