Iris Y. Herrera

Iris Y. Herrera, age 57, of East Chicago, IN, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.  Iris is survived by her loving parents:  Diosdado and Nery Cotto; children:  Enrique Herrera, Jr. and Nicholas O. Herrera; grandchildren:  Jeremiah J. Herrera, Enrique Herrera III, and Xiomara M. Herrera; siblings:  Maria D. Rivera-Cotto, Ruth Evelyn Monroig-Cotto and Orlando Cotto; significant other, Joel Gonzalez; and loving family.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 beginning at 9:15 am at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago with a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3510 Deodar St., East Chicago, with Rev. Carlos Martinez, A.I.C., officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation will be on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME.
