John Louis Morris, age 60, of East Chicago, Indiana passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Franciscan St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond.  John is survived by his two sons:  John L. (Nancy) Morris and Michael A. Morris; six grandchildren:  Alyssa Morris, Antonio Galvan, Michael A. Morris, Jr., John L. Morris III, Xavier Morris, and Jozlyn Morris; mother of his sons, Virginia P. Morris; brother, Saturnino (Alyson) Perez, Jr.; sisters:  Theresa Osborne and Michelle Morris; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 18, 2017.  Msgr. John Siekierski will hold services at 7:30 pm on Friday at the funeral home.

John was retired from the Laborers Union Local #41 where he was a dedicated and hard worker.  He loved his family and especially his grandchildren who lit up his face with love and joy.  A very loyal man to his family and friends who never had a bad word to say about anyone.  John also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh; along with his great love of animals.  John will be deeply missed by his family and friends.  To share a memory or send a permanent online condolence, please logon to:  www.fifefuneralhome.com
