Jose Jesus Delgado, age 56 of Whiting, IN passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at home.  He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Shelby Delgado; 5 children: Melissa Duty, Arturo Rivera, Jose Delgado, Miguel Rivera and Elena Delgado; 4 grandchildren: Ethan Dart, Elisia Duty, Arturo Rivera, Jr. and Natalia Rivera; mother, Julia Delgado; sister, Valentina (Victor) Gomez; 2 brothers, Martin and ____ Delgado; several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his father, Jose Delgado and sister, Elena Delgado.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018.  Private cremation to follow..
