Juan Trinidad Campos “Cuchupletas”, age 75 of Gary, IN formerly of East Chicago, IN  passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017.  He is survived by his wife, Gregoria “Gloria” Campos; 7 children: Candelario (Maria Inez) Campos, Campos Juan Antonio (Teresa) Campos, Juanita (Francisco) Gonzalez, Josefina (Robert) Pezel, Jesusita “Jessica” (Israel) Zavala, Juan Jose Trinidad (April) Campos, Jr.h and Jose (Brooke) Santos Campos; step son, Daniel Ayala; 25 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Carmen and Concepcion Campos; several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents, Santos and Mariana Campos; first wife, Maria de la Luz in 2006; brothers, Sebastian and Manuel Campos.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Nestor Varon officiating.  Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 and from 10:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Monday morning.
