Lucio Andrade Obituary

Lucio Andrade, age 70 of Hammond, IN passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019.  He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Maria Luisa Andrade; 3 children: Manuel Rivera, Ivan Andrade and Bertha Andrade; 3 children in El Salvador: Ismael Andrade, Yanira Andrade and Yolanda Andrade; 6 grandchildren; brother, Jose (Dilma) Benitez; 5 sisters: Bertha, Ana, Gloria, Orbelina and Blanca; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his mother, Antanacia Andrade.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1445 Hoffman Street, Hammond, IN with Rev. Luis Ferneidy officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Church on Friday morning.

Lucio retired from Asplungh Tree Service, Burr Ridge, IL in 2014 after 25 years of service.  He was a minister and very devout catholic and was very active with St. Margaret Mary’s Church.  Lucio lived his life for his church and family and was a very hard working man.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
