Maria Soledad Mendoza Cazares, age 65, of Hammond, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at home surrounded by family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August  11, 2017 at St. Mary Church, 802 W. 144th Street, East Chicago, Indiana, with Padre Fernay officiating, burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.  Visitation will be on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 2:00 to 9:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana; and at Church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m.
