Norma Gladys De Jesus Pagan Rivera

Norma Gladys De Jesus Pagan Rivera, age 71 of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018.  She is survived by her husband, Jose Elias Almeda Sanchez; son, Angel Melendez, Jr.; grandchildren:  Vanessa and Andrew Melendez; sisters:  Mirian (Jose) Santos, Oneida (Frank) Santiago, Myrna (Neftali) Gonzalez, Andreita (Joel) Alvarado and Elizabeth (Benigno) Rodriguez; brother, Harry DeJesus; and too many nieces and nephews to mention but all loved by her.  Preceded in death by her parents:  Leonar and Evangelio DeJesus Pagan; and sisters:  Aixa DeJesus, Lourdes DeJesus, and Gladys Vela.

Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, December 22, 2018.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.

Norma will be remembered most for her leadership role in her family as she was always referred to as the "Patron."  Her heart of gold will be sorely missed and words of wisdom with the nose twitch will  never be forgotten.
