Valentina "Valen" Santiago Mora

Valentina "Valen" Santiago Mora was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on August 29,1932.  She passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Caguas, Puerto Rico.  She had been a long time resident of East Chicago, IN for over 50 years before moving back to Puerto Rico.  She is prededed in death by her beloved husband, Emilio Mora; parents, Jesus Santiago and Candid Torres Santiago; sisters: Betti Santiago, Guillermina Negron and Bonifica Santos; brothers, Bernardo Santiago and Maximino Santiago.  She is survived by her brother, Raymond; numerous counsins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many godchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Croatian Church 4754 Carey Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry J. Steffens officiating.  Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.

Valen attended Holy Trinity Croatian Church in East Chicago, IN where she was an active member for many years.  She loved traveling, dancing, bingo and being with family and friends.  She was loved by many and will be truly missed by all.  To share an online condolence, logon to www.fifefuneralhome.com
