Alfredo Gonzalez

Alfredo Gonzalez, age 59 of East Chicago, IN passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021.  He is survived by children: Monica Gonzalez (former son in-law, Felix Escamilla III) and Stefanie Gonzalez (former son in-law, Joseph Homoky); Carlos Santos who was like a son to him;  grandchildren: Analise Gonzalez, Jeselia Escamilla, Emalina Escamilla, Hemi Homoky, Cruz Homoky and Xavier Santos; 2 great grandchildren, Chloe Allen and Adonis Brown; mother of his daughters, Diana Villarreal; girlfriend, Alma Leal; siblings: Carmelo (Clotilda) Gonzalez, Margarita Arona, Saturnino (Janine) Perez, Jr., Jose Gonzalez, Reinaldo Perez, Luz (Aladin) Martinez, Angel (Kathy) Perez, Rosemary (John) Martinez, Richard (Claudia) Gonzalez, Emily (Jose) Marcano, David (Lisette) Gonzalez, Ivan Gonzalez, Arturo Gonzalez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Preceded in death by parents, Saturnino and Martina Gonzalez Perez; siblings: Carlos Gonzalez, Anival Gonzalez and Gloria Favela.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Pastor Robert E. Johnson officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday morning. The family requests everyone wear white shirts if possible. **(A MAXIMUM of 50 People will be Allowed in the Funeral Home at one time and MASKS and SOCIAL DISTANCING will be Required.)**
