Angelica Casares

Angelica Casares, age 21, of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, August 6, 2021.  Angelica is survived by her daughter, Alicia Camila Casares; mother, Patty Zuniga; two sisters:  Natalie and Naomi; brother, Salvador III; maternal grandparents:  Enrique and Maria Zuniga; aunts:  Elena Zuniga and Lupita Zuniga; uncle, Daniel Zuniga; numerous other aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.  Preceded in death by her sister, Alicia Karina Casares.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 10:00 am at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Stephen Gibson officiating.  Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.  Visitation will be on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Angelica was an amazing bright light to this world.  Always so sweet, nurturing and caring to those she loved most.  Her vibrant energy was so contagious, her radiant smile was stunning, her laugh always came from deep in her belly and will continue to ring through the memories.  She had so many hopes and dreams she wanted to accomplish and will never get to finish because she was taken far too soon.  Her light will live on through her beautiful daughter, Alicia Camila Casares, a spitting image of her radiance inside and out, her two beautiful and strong sisters Natalie and Naomi Caseras, her loving mother Patricia Casares, and beloved grandparents Enrique and Maria Zuniga and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She has joined her sister Alicia in the sky and they’ve become two of the most amazing guardian angels any family could ask for.
