Angelo Garcia, Jr.

Angelo “Angel” Garcia, Jr., age 82 of Gary, Indiana passed away Monday, December 30, 2019.  Angelo is survived by five children:  Angela (Bill) Gish, Chris (Kari) Garcia, Kathy (Bruce) Castillo, Michelle (Kevin) Baptist, and Michael (Heather) Freeman; grandchildren:  Shawn, Amber, Heather and William; Alex and Elizabeth; Joseph, Nicholas and Christian; Kevin II, Tricia, Gabrielle and Jonathan; and Makayla, Aurora and Baby Freeman; great-grandchildren:  James, Jacob and Novalie; and Samantha, Olivia, Andrew and Baby Fox;  2 sisters:  Emma Garcia and Beatrice Sharp; brothers:  Herman Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, Edward Garcia, Armondo Garcia, Richard (Vicky) Garcia, and Rolland (Lisa) Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his dog, Daisy II; and his cat Sylvester.  Preceded in death by his fiancé, Judith Ann Freeman; parents:  Angelo and Louise Garcia; sisters:  Alice, Blanche, Mary Lou and Sophie; and brothers:  Louis and Henry.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN and Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
