Antonio Saucedo

Antonio Saucedo, age 82 of East Chicago, IN passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at home.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Catalina (Garcia) Saucedo; 5 children: Annabel Shore, Antonio Saucedo, Jr., Arturo (Erlinda) Saucedo, Armando Saucedo and Adriana (Joseph) Robles; 6 grandchildren: Glen Patrick Shore, Jr., Alexandra (Leonel) Reyes, Sabrina Saucedo, Carlos Castillo, Alejandro Castillo and Ysabella Robles; great grandson, Leonzo Reyes Saucedo; extended family: Easa Hamed and family, Marie Puente and family, and Juanita Martinez and family;  nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his mother, Luisa Zapata; brother, Jesus Saucedo; sister, Manuela Molina.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 30, 2022. 

Antonio retired from Inland Steel Company after 46 years of service.  He was an avid reader and loved doing crossword puzzles.  He loved going to dances with his wife and putting the younger ones to shame. Antonio instilled a very good work ethic on his family and was proud how all his children got along.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Special Olympics, Hospice of the Calumet Area or the Humane Society would be appreciated.
