December 13, 1928, Arturo Cisneros Flores was born in the small town of Tezoatlan De Segura y Luna Oaxaca. He was a very loving father and a hard worker all throughout his long life. He started working at the age of nine as he had lost his father. He worked various jobs in Mexico. In 1941 he came to the United States to work as a bracero; he worked in the fields of Watsonville and Castroville, California. In 1971 he worked at Inland Steel Company in East Chicago for 22 years, retiring in 1993.
The for the rest of his life he was a gardener; planting vegetables and fruit trees. He chopped wood well into his 90's and walked until the end with no assistance. He fought to the end to stay for his daughter, Guadalupe. He also said "I know my rebel daughter Rosalba would never leave me." The faithful three will always miss you.
