Bacilia "Bachi" Navarro

Bacilia Navarro, age 87 of East Chicago, IN passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at home.  She is survived by daughter, Ana Rosa (Sergio) Cardona; son, Francisco Javier (Margarita) Casillas; 8 grandchildren: Anthony Politano, Sergio (Claudia) Cardona, Jr., Daniel (Evelia) Cardona, Maribel (Efren G.) Cardona, Francisco Casillas, Jr., Manuel Casillas, Beatriz Casillas and Margarita Casillas; 11 great grandchildren: Sergio Manuel, Alejandra, Maria Fernanda, Daniel, Jr., Luis Enrique, Vicky and Efren, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son, Eduardo Casillas; parents, Andres and Regina Navarro; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 11:30 am at St. Mary Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Nestor Varon officiating.  Cremation to follow.  Inurnment to be held at a later date at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Private Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday morning. (**Due to COVID-19, there will be a limit of 10 people at one time allowed in the funeral home.)
