**In Loving Memory of Cesar M. Cavazos**

Cesar M. Cavazos, age 83, of East Chicago, IN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in 1940, Cesar lived a full and dedicated life, exemplifying hard work and determination.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Maria DeJesus, and their family, which includes 4 children whom remember him as a loving and supportive father, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. His Sons Marco (Francine) children: Oscar, Corina, Yvette; Son, Hector (Michelle) children: Andres, Michael, Julia; Son Alexjandro children: Alexjandro Jr., Alesandra, Coco, and Son Ernesto (Samantha) Lola, Lucas, Audrey, Christopher all cherish the many memories they shared with their grandfather. His great-grandchildren Xavier, Mia, Dominic, Avian, Zandrian, Nazaian, Christian, and Sebastian will forever hold dear the stories and wisdom he imparted.

Cesar was preceded in death by his father, Jose, his mother, Maria Dolores, and his 8 brothers: Leopoldo, Jose, Zenon, Esteban, Isidro, Juventino, Ramon, and Jesus. He is survived by his brother Ruben (Dominga), sister Maria Dyla (Miguel), and numerous nieces and nephews.

A devoted employee, Cesar retired from National Industrial Maintenance, INC., leaving behind a legacy of diligence and pride in his work and family. His life's example continues to inspire those who knew him.

Cesar's memory will live on through the love and respect of his family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.  Time, date and church pending.
