Charlotte L. Bizik, age 73, of Sturgis, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025.

Known for her motherly heart, sharp wit, and joyful spirit, Charlotte had a way of making everyone feel like family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James, and son, Joe — losses she carried with grace and resilience.

Charlotte’s love showed up in countless ways: in her colorful flower gardens, her infectious laugh, her unforgettable dance moves, and her gift for nurturing others. Whether she was sharing a home-cooked meal or cracking a joke, she brought warmth and light to every moment.

She is survived by her grandson, James Casey Bizik, and his wife, Katie, as well as several loving siblings. Among them, her sister Donna held a special place in her final years, offering care and comfort with unwavering love. Charlotte also maintained a close bond with her former daughter-in-law, Kelley, whose continued presence, and support meant so much to her and the family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Fife Funeral Home, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd.,  East Chicago, Indiana.  Rev. Jay Nuthulapati will have a prayer service at 4:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
