Clara (Matos) Martinez

Clara Martinez, age 86 of East Chicago, IN passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023.  She is survived by 3 sons: Julio Martinez, Felix (Gerri) Martinez and Tino (Claribel) Martinez; 4 grandchildren: Felix Alex, Stephanie, Marilyn and Marcus; 4 great grandchildren; siblings: late Pedro, late Luis, late Jose, Ramon and Migdalia; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Dolores Matos; husband, Claudino Martinez; daughter, Betsaida.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10:30 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Saturday morning.
