Daniel Castro Solano, age 20 of East Chicago, IN passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024.  He is survived by his parents, Victor Castro and Emma Solano; 2 brothers, Kevin Castro and David Castro Orozco; 2 sisters, Maritza Castro and Josselyn Castro; girlfriend, Crystal Dominguez; paternal grandmother, Antonina Adame; maternal grandmother, Lidia Simental; maternal grandfather, Antonio Solano.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 3802 Grand Blvd, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Jay Nuthalapati officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024 and from 9:30 am to 10:00 am at the Church on Saturday morning.
