Edward J. Zubay, Jr.

Edward J. Zubay, Jr., age 70, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026. Ed is survived by his mother, Dolores Zubay; sister, Renee (Bob Parker) Fife; nephews:  James Fife and Elliott Fife; cousins:  Jill Udani, Barbara Turek, Steven Teets, Todd Teets and Christopher Teets; and favorite niece, Remi. Preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Zubay, Sr.; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana.  Private Cremation.

Ed was a 1973 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School in Hammond, Indiana; then went on to work many years as a Bricklayer.  In his retirement he was a pickleball enthusiast and discovered a new social life resulting in many new friendships.
