Elias Leon

Elias Leon, age 32 of East Chicago, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020.  Elias is survived by mother, Maria Castallanos; son, Elias Leon, Jr.; sister, Virginia Leon; brothers:  David Gamez and Emilio Gamez; special cousin, Julio Leon; cousins, Jesus and Andres; aunt, Luisa Leon; nieces:  Jesslyn, Leilani, and Mi’Reyna; nephews:  Henry, Ethan, John and James; numerous cousins, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents:  Jesus and Refugia Leon; uncle, Juan Leon, Sr.; and cousins, Juan Leon, Jr. and Claudia Leon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 29, 2020 and from 9:00 am to 9:30 am on Saturday morning. (Due to COVID-19 there will be a limit of 25 people at a time allowed in the Funeral Home.)
