Eliseo M. Oropesa

Eliseo M. Oropesa, age 81 of Hammond, IN passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at home.  He is survived by 6 children: Michael Oropesa, Sandra (Robert) Ledesma, Adriana Oropesa, Eli Oropesa, Nona (Alberto) Ibarra and Juanita Oropesa; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: late Margarita (late Carlos) Von Hatten, late Alfonso Ortega, late Ramona Ortega, Robert Ortega and Juanita Trevino; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Eliseo Oropesa and Ramona Vargas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Deacon Ray Helfen officiating. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Thursday morning.
