Francisco Avila, age 75 of Hammond, IN passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Petra Avila; father of 10 children and many grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister in Mexico.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1445 Hoffman Street, Hammond, IN with Rev. Luis Ferneidy Iral Cardona officiating.  Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
