Gerald "Jerry" Lipkovitch

Gerald “Jerry” Lipkovitch, age 74, of East Chicago, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022.  Jerry is survived by two children:  Gerald "Jerry" Lipkovitch and Katherine Lipkovitch; 3 grandchildren:  Cora Lipkovitch, Miranda Younger and Elayna Lipkovitch; 5 siblings:  John (Carol) Lipkovitch, Louise Lipkovitch, Robert Lipkovitch, Paul (Dona) Lipkovitch and Chester Lipkovitch; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and former wife, Georgina Lipkovitch.  Preceded in death by his parents:  John and Frances Lipkovitch; and sister:  Violet Rapacz, Frances Fodor, and Barbara Lipkovitch; brothers: Thomas Lipkovitch, Eugene Lipkovitch, Raymond Lipkovitch, Richard Lipkovitch, and Steve Lipkovitch..

Graveside burial services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 9:15 am at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois 60421.

Jerry was a graduate of East Chicago Roosevelt High School and retired from Blaw-Knox Company in East Chicago.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was an avid baseball and wrestling fan.  Jerry was a life-long resident of East Chicago.
