Guillermo A. Rivera

Guillermo A. Rivera, age 85 of East Chicago, IN passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosa (Gonzalez) Rivera; 4 children: Guillermo (Eva) Rivera, Nilda (Amado Garcia, Jr.) Rivera, Gerardo (Ernestina) Rivera and Edgar Rivera; 5 grandchildren: Tatiana, Alejandro, Gerardo, Guillermo and Sofia; 3 great grandchildren: Mateo, Mariana and Alejandro “AJ”; brother, Miguel (Olga) Rivera; sister, Maria Antonia; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3510 Deodar Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Luis Ferneidy Iral Cardona officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday morning. (NOTE:  due to construction on Indianapolis Boulevard, please use Railroad, Tod, or Olcott Avenues to 142nd Street)
