Hector M. Ocasio, Jr., age 55 of Chicago, IL passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at home. He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Guzman; daughter, Meylin Oliveras; 3 grandchildren: Yetziel Oliveras, Gabriela Hernandez and Ian Oliveras; parents, Hector M. and Norma Ocasio; 3 siblings: Marilin Ocasio, Myrna (Ruben Flores) Ocasio and Edwardo (Loydi) Ocasio; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 28. 2023 at 10:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Nestor Varon officiating. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
