Hector Luis "Coco" Torres, age 81 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at home.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Aidee Torres; 4 children: Hector Torres, Jr., Judith Torres, Reynaldo (Jeanie) Torres and Janet (Ricky) Torres; grandchildren: Hector and Jacqueline, Helen (EJ) and Edwin (Diana), Marilyn, Marisol, Maribel and Reynaldo, Jr., Arlene (Norberto), Lisandra (Isaac) and Jeannette (Osmond); great grandchildren; sister, Elba (Pedro) Lopez; 3 brothers: Andres Torres, Jose Luis Torres and Ramon (Ana) Torres; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Ricky Torres officiating. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 and from 9:30 am to 10:00 am Friday morning.
