Heriberto Maldonado

Heriberto Maldonado, age 76 of East Chicago, IN passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021.  He is survived by his wife, Maria Maldonado; 4 children: Luis (Maria) Maldonado, Annette (George) Velez, Mike (Kendra) Velez and Heriberto Maldonado; grandchildren: Destiny and her children, Christian and Ayden Puentes, Dejalae (Laylani) Puentes, Miyah Velez, Mike, Mercedes, Eric, Mariah, Mariana, Aubrey and Analeiah Maldonado, Luis (Malaya); mother in-law, Gloria L. Rodriguez; in-laws: Gloria Luyando, Mercedes (Alfredo) Malaves and Mariano (Jackie); nieces: Amanda (Eleiah, Ali, Inocencio, Chenzo, and Honesti), Jasmine (Mika) Colon, Nena (Emani, Kameron and Aubrey) Luyando, Yvette (Araceli, Tony and Ed), Jessica, Rosemary (Yessenia and Ruben); nephews: Ralph, Pito and Suso Maldonado; various other nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by mother, Otilia Cosme; brothers: Raul, Luis and Rafael Maldonado; sister, Antonia Maldonado.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:30 am at St. Mary Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Private cremation to follow.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 and from 10:30 am to 11:00 am Friday morning.
