Hortencia R. Vasquez (nee Ramos), age 93 of East Chicago, IN passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024. Mother of 5 children: Louise J. "Lisa" Garcia, EddieBoy, James, late Frank and late Ralph; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; dearest friend, Ida Mae Gregory; 3 brothers: Phillip, John and late Ruben; 5 sisters: Andrea Lara, late Mary, late Lydia, late Feliz and late Dolores.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 3802 Grand Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Diego Florez officiating.  Private cremation to follow.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Church on Thursday morning.
