James Allan Howard "Jim", age 56 of Hammond, IN passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021. Jim is survived by his mother, Mary Anne Howard, younger brother, Patrick (Bertha) Howard; older brothers: John (TJ) Howard, Paul Howard, and Kevin Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Ann Howard.

Private cremation services were provided by FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN.

Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran where he served as a ship mechanic. He was a talented mechanic who worked on cars. He was easy-going and ready to lend a helping hand when asked. Jim will be affectionately and lovingly missed.
