Jennifer L. Castillo (nee Puentes), age 53, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Raised and lived in Hammond, Indiana, Jennifer is survived by her mother, Teresa (Puentes) Sanchez; husband, Etelberto Castillo; 3 children:  Victoria (Puentes) Poe, Roberto Castillo and Nocholas Castillo; 4 grandchildren:  Dameron, Elliot, Claire, and Veronica; sisters:  Patricia, Martha, and Theresa; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Preceded in death by her father, Arnold Puentes.

Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025.  Rev. Luis I. Ferneidy will hold services at 7:00 pm on Thursday.  Private cremation to follow.

Jennifer grew up a free spirited and loving person.  She attended Hammond High School.  As time went on, she lived her life loving the 1980's and her dogs "babies".
