Johanna M. (Garapic) Petruch

Johanna M. Petruch (nee Garapic), age 86 of Munster, IN passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021.  She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Frank J. Petruch; 3 daughters: Patricia (Jerry) Wade, Cinda Fife and Kelly (Steve) Narantic; 6 grandchildren: Kyle (Laura) and Kelly Wade, J.P. (Kelly) and Evan Fife, Michael and Stephanie Narantic; great granddaughter, Makenna.  Preceded in death by her brothers, John Garapic, Jr. and Edward Garapic; sisters, Ann Garapic, Ella Dorall and Martha Fernandez.

Private funeral services were held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN followed by burial at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.

Joan was employed by Burger’s Supermarkets for 16 years.  She was a loving grandmother who had a special relationship with all of her grandchildren.  She was an extremely good bowler for many years and competed at a high level.  To share an online condolence, logon to www.fifefuneralhome.com
