Jose Inez Medrano

Jose Inez Medrano, age 57, of Hammond, Indiana passed away Monday, March 22, 2021.  Jose is survived by his loving wife, Angelica; four children:  Kenia, Adrian, Eric and Grecia; two grandchildren:  Evelyn and Jaiden; siblings:  Modesta (Aurelio) Terrazas, Maria (Sergio) Zavala, Lourdes (Pascual) Medrano, Jose Medrano, Rafael Medrano, Filiberto Medrano, Manuela Medrano, and Petra Medrano; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Preceded in death by his parents:  Nieves Minjarez and Francisco Medrano; and granddaughter, Jacqueline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Patrick Church, 3802 Grand Boulevard, East Chicago, Indiana with Father Patrick Gaza officiating.  Private Entombment at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.

Jose was a loving father who always put his family first and was always there for them.  He loved mexican (corridos) music, cookouts, and especially his grandkids.  Our dad was a hard working father and the best dad; he gave his kids everything they needed.  We will miss him very much.
